Custom Package Creation in AnyDesk: Specifying Versions for V1 and V2 Portals

Table of content

It’s possible to specify a particular version when creating custom packages in AnyDesk. Let’s take a look below for both versions of the portal:

AnyDesk V1: Accessing the Custom Clients Section

Go to the my.anydesk.com portal and navigate to the “Files” section to view the custom packages. You can create a new one or modify an existing one.

AnyDesk V1: Creating or Editing the Package

You can create a new package or edit an existing one, in which case you choose “Edit.”

AnyDesk V1: Applying the Advanced Command

At the bottom, expand “Advanced” and add the following command with the version you want to set: _module=anydesk-8.0.8.
Then you only need to download and install as you did initially, and this time the AnyDesk client version will be the one you defined in the command.

AnyDesk V2: Accessing the Builds Section

Go to the my.anydesk.com portal and navigate to the “Builds” section to view the custom builds. You can create a new one or modify an existing one.

AnyDesk V2: Creating or Editing the Package

You can create a new package or edit an existing one, in which case you choose “Edit.”

AnyDesk V2: Applying the Advanced Command

At the bottom, expand “Advanced” and add the following command with the version you want to set: _module=anydesk-8.0.8.
Then you only need to download and install as you did initially, and this time the AnyDesk client version will be the one you defined in the command.
