The display settings allow users to customize how the connected device is displayed on their screen. Users can adjust the default settings in Settings > Display and also make changes during a session using the AnyDesk toolbar.
Settings
In Settings > Display, users can configure the default session quality, view mode, and other display preferences when connecting to a new AnyDesk client.
Quality: Choose between high-quality visuals or better reaction time.
Visual helpers: Enhance visibility with helpful visual aids.
View Mode: Control how the remote image is displayed locally, including options for fullscreen mode and scrolling preferences.
Hardware Acceleration: Select your preferred renderer or disable acceleration, with options to optimize rendering for multi-monitor setups.
Individual Settings: Save settings for each desk or reset them to default on every connection.
Session Settings
Users can also adjust display settings mid-session through the AnyDesk toolbar to modify the remote view, resolution, audio and video quality, and other preferences.
Fullscreen Mode
Investigate the two forms of fullscreen mode: one for Direct3D and one for DirectDraw/OpenGL.
Direct3D
Note: Direct3D runs in exclusive fullscreen mode. For multi-monitor setups and fullscreen, please switch to DirectDraw/OpenGL.
If Direct3D is selected in Settings > Display > Hardware Acceleration, navigate the menu for various options, such as switching between remote displays and minimizing AnyDesk.
DirectDraw/OpenGL
If DirectDraw/OpenGL is selected in Settings > Display > Hardware Acceleration, explore the menu for similar features, including switching between remote displays and leaving fullscreen mode.
