The AnyDesk app for Android provides a convenient solution for remote desktop connectivity and remote control via Android devices.

System Requirements

Warning: Remote control of ChromeOS devices is currently not supported.

  • Remote controlling an Android device requires Android 7.0 or newer.

Depending on the Android device, downloading and installing a control plugin may be necessary. The control plugins are automatically downloaded when launching AnyDesk for the first time after user confirmation. Alternatively, they can also be downloaded and installed from the Google Play Store.

Caution: Some devices may require activation of the control plugin in the Android Accessibility settings.

Assign License Key

Due to vendor restrictions, assigning a license key to the standard AnyDesk for Android app from the Google Play Store is not possible without a third-party mobile device management tool. However, a licensed AnyDesk client can be used on an Android device by creating a custom client with the “Assign to license” option enabled.
