Permissions determine the actions that users connecting to your AnyDesk client are allowed to perform, as well as the rights they possess. With Permission Profiles, you can swiftly and easily configure multiple sets of permissions for various scenarios.
Setup
From the dropdown menu, you can select the Permission Profile you want to customize. Additionally, you can create new custom profiles and delete previously created ones from this menu.
There are three popular types of Permission Profiles generated by AnyDesk. While these profiles can be edited, they cannot be removed outside the custom client at this time.
- Default - Users connecting to your AnyDesk client have all permissions, except for the ability to enable Privacy Mode and create TCP-tunnels.
- Screen Sharing - Users connecting to your AnyDesk client using this profile can only view and monitor your device, without any additional permissions.
- Full Access - Users connecting to your AnyDesk client using this profile have complete control over your device. Please use this profile with careful consideration!
- Unattended Access - This profile includes the settings configured in the previous Unattended Access section of the client settings.
Permissions
Each profile allows configuration of the following permissions:
Enable Unattended Access: This option enables you to set a password for this profile. Users connecting to your device and entering this password will be granted the permissions of this profile without requiring manual acceptance of their connection. Further details about our Unattended Access feature and related functions can be found at Unattended Access.
Profile Enabled: Disabling this option will hide and disable the profile. You will not be able to select this profile in the Accept Window, and the unattended access password configured for this profile will be disabled.
Other users are allowed to…: This section includes the permissions enabled and disabled for this profile. A list of available permissions can be found below.

Tip:
We provide a Permission Profile key-value pair generator to assist our customers in generating the key-value pairs required for their desired configurations.
Warning:
Please note that the unattended access password for the Unattended Access password cannot be preset using this key-value pair in the custom client generator or Windows Group Policy at this time.
For the custom client generator, please use the “Preset Password” field if you wish to do so. In Windows Group Policy, we suggest using or creating a different profile.
