Understanding Dynamic Builds: Simplifying Client Management with Real-Time Customization
Understanding Dynamic Builds
A dynamic build offers a seamless solution that eliminates the need for manual client reinstallation, unlike its static counterpart. This streamlines the management process and ensures consistent updates across all clients.
Once you have created a Custom Client Build, you can easily share it with your colleagues and install it on one or multiple devices. This means that the build can be linked to multiple clients.
If you need to adjust the settings for all clients linked to the build, such as security settings or adding/removing access to certain features, you can easily do so in my.anydesk II.
💡 You can also make real-time changes for individual clients only. Learn how to do that in this article.
Changes to builds can be applied in two ways, depending on the selected build type during creation. There are two types of builds:
- Static - a build that requires client reinstallation on every device after each customization.
- Dynamic - a build that can be customized in real-time without the need to reinstall it on all devices after each change. Updates will instantly apply to all linked clients. To use dynamic builds, you first need to Activate Central Management.
