Understanding User Roles in AnyDesk Management Console: A Comprehensive Guide
User Roles in AnyDesk Management Console
User Roles are a key feature that define specific access rights for users within the AnyDesk management console. Depending on the role assigned to a user, they can have varying levels of access, from viewing only, to viewing and editing, or having no access at all to different sections of the management console. This helps improve productivity and security by ensuring that users have the appropriate level of access to functionality.
In this article, we will explore the different user roles available, depending on the type of license you hold:
- Roles for Advanced license
- Roles for Ultimate license

For detailed instructions on assigning roles to users, refer to Assign role to a user in this article.
Create a Role
Available for users with an Ultimate-Cloud license.
If the default roles do not meet your specific needs, you can create a new role. Once created, you can assign permission sets and add users to the role.
For step-by-step instructions on creating a new role, see Create a role.
Assign Permission Set to a Role
Available for users with an Ultimate-Cloud license.
After creating a new role, you must assign a permission set to determine the level of access for the users assigned that role.
